About

meowshapes is a simple editor for visualizing 3D shapes, vectors, and math-related content. I made it because I wanted an alternative to Geogebra or Desmos that was easier to use for vector-related content.

It’s designed to be easy to use and easy to embed.

Package

meowshapes builds on the meowshapes package, which itself is a relatively thin wrapper over THREE.js. It's possible to use the meowshapes package directly and it's described here. It's less convenient, but is a bit faster to load.

Roadmap

Here's some of the things I am hoping to add eventually:

• Image/video export
• Editor typescript support
• Editor settings
• Auto-formatting
• Console log capture
• "Graph mode" or something like that. An alternative mode akin to how you set up Geogebra/Desmos graphs
• More auth providers (Microsoft, others?)
• Add more cats to the homepage - for an app called "meowshapes" there's surprisingly few cats involved
